Our History: Seven Decades of Compassionate Service
Founded by George Stoecklein, Sr. in 1956 in Pennsylvania, Life Remembered has grown from a single cemetery to become one of the largest privately-owned cemetery organizations in the country. Our dedication to serving families with compassion and integrity has remained unchanged for over seven decades.
What began as a mission to provide beautiful, peaceful resting places for families in Pennsylvania has expanded throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions—now serving communities across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, South Carolina, and North Carolina—always maintaining our core values of respect, dignity, and exceptional service.
