Zanesville Memorial Park has been serving the residents of Muskingum County for over 80 years. It is Central Ohio’s most preferred cemetery. Our staff performs over 300 interments, inurnments, and entombments annually.
Zanesville encompasses close to 80 acres of ground, resting on gently sloping hills that form and shape ten tranquil gardens for traditional side-by-side ground burial. Visitation to a loved one’s site is available throughout the year as a result of the double wide paved roads which weave throughout the cemetery. Meticulously maintained shrubbery and a large variety of mature trees grace the landscape.
Zanesville Memorial Park also offers the most sensible and economical method of burial with the Custom Built Burial Chamber program.
Many families prefer above-ground entombment. To fulfill this desire, Zanesville Memorial Park has a number of choice mausoleum crypts available in our Temple of All Faiths Garden Crypt. Our community mausoleum makes above-ground entombment affordable for most families.
Dignified and affordable cremation memorialization arrangements can be selected in our new Garden of Faith. This garden allows for a variety of cremation options including niches in our Garden of Faith Cremation Columbarium. Cremation bench sites and private cremation columbariums are also available within this section.
Zanesville Memorial Park honors all veterans. The entrance of the park features a monumental war memorial which pays tribute to the nearly 1,000 Muskingum County residents who served in World War I. In 1954 a large bronze plaque was erected to honor the area veterans who lost their lives during World War II and the Korean Conflict. An annual Memorial Day service is held with the participation and cooperation of many local citizens and organizations.
We have two goals at Zanesville Memorial Park: to provide superior service to the families who have entrusted us with the care of their loved ones and to assist families in securing the protection they deserve through the preplanning of their final needs.
