Barbara A. Coxey
October 22, 1947 - October 16, 2025 (Age 77)
Barbara Ann Coxey, 77, of Leola, PA, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy, PA. Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of the late Carl L. Heagy, Sr. and Janet R. Heagy (Missimer).
She graduated from Lampeter Strasburg High School in 1965. Barbara worked for R.R. Donnelley & Sons as a proofreader for 45 years. During her free time, she enjoyed painting folk art, completing jigsaw puzzles, and being a proud dog Mom.
Barbara is survived by her brother, Carl L. Heagy, Jr., and her two nephews, Cory and Eric Heagy.
Friends are welcome to Barbara’s viewing on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at The Groffs Family Funeral Home, 528 W. Orange Street, Lancaster, PA, at 12 Noon. Following the viewing, there will be a short prayer service at 12:30 p.m., followed by a private burial.
