David K. Glaspell

David Glaspell, 64, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully at home on Friday , July 8th, 2022.

David was born in Clarksburg, WV and served in the United States Navy for four years before joining the surgical team at Atrium Health working as a proud teammate for 34 years. He loved and cared deeply for his family and friends. And was well loved by them in return. He was passionate about cars and his TV. He enjoyed watching a wide areay of channels on YouTube, his Viki for his Asian series, his favorite sci-fi shows and classic Western movies on Prime Video and catching up on all the Star Wars movies on Disney+.. He loved sharing random trivia about anything and everything under the sun and sharing his adventures (and misadventures) growing up with his brothers and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was very giving to those near and dear to him. He always made sure that those he cared most are well taken care of and would always think about others before himself.

David was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Wayne. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Leticia and beloved nephew son Russell, who is like a son to him, also of Charlotte, NC. His mother, Minerva Ellen Zepeda, brothers Mitchell and Gary (Roseanne), nephews Aspen and Halston and niece Chanel, all of Youngstown, OH.

He was an amazing person who will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews, his extended family and friends, both here in the States and in the Philippines, and all those who knew him.

A visitation will be held from 4pm to 8 pm Friday, July 15 , 2022 at Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10am Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Wilson funeral home. Graveside service will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
