Margaret J. Knupp

Margaret J. (Buncie) Knupp, 88, of Luxor, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2025, at her home.

Born January 15, 1937, in Bradenville, she was the daughter of the late George T. Buncie Sr. and Thelma A. (Dias) Buncie.

Margaret loved crossword puzzles and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. She will be fondly remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Knupp; four brothers, Donald, George Jr., Richard, and Roy Buncie; and two sisters, Barbara Buncie and Evelyn Buncie.

Margaret is survived by two daughters, Judy Koffman and her husband, Raymond, of Luxor and Roxanne Wanichko and her husband, Joseph, of Pleasant Unity; five grandchildren, Justine Frayvolt (Donald), Nicole McMillen (T.J.), Marissa Perillo (Dominick), Adam Wanichko, and Riley Wanichko; four great-grandchildren, Mikey, Kadence, Hunter, and Fiona; and a special niece, Linda Buncie, of Bradenville.

At Margaret’s request, there will be no public visitations or services. Private interment will be at Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
