Mark R. Cunningham, 62, of Greensburg, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021. He was born Dec. 30, 1958, in Greensburg, son of Joanne Thornberry Cunningham, of Greensburg, and the late James R. Cunningham. He was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greensburg. For many years, Mark worked at the Arc of Westmoreland and bowled with the Hillivew Specials. In addition to his father, James, on March 2, 2021, Mark was predeceased by a nephew, Christopher Connelly. In addition to his mother, Mark is survived by two sisters, Paula (Paul) Carlson, of Bellwood, and Linda (James) Connelly, of Jefferson, Md.; three nephews, Shawn Connelly, Adam Carlson and Nathan Carlson; and a niece, Elizabeth Defibaugh. Mark will not only be missed by his family, but also by the caring staff at his group home. There will be no public visitation. The funeral service and interment will be private.
