Rosalie T. Irvin

July 6, 1926 - May 13, 2025 (Age 98)

Rosalie T. Irvin, 98, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Oak Leaf Manor North. Born in Winnipeg Manitoba, Rosalie was the last surviving child of immigrants from Poland and Eastern Europe. Her parents were the late Karl Protasiewicz and Lucia Anec. She was the loving wife of Clarence J. Irvin after the passing of her first husband, Robert L. Mohn.

Rosalie was very proud of her Canadian and Catholic heritages; and was equally proud of her work to become a US citizen. After marrying her second husband Clarence J. Irvin she became a member of Hamilton Park UCC, where together they ushered and did visitations.

After their retirement, Rosalie and Clarence traveled to many countries around the world including Peru, Australia, New Zealand, Europe as well as visiting Alaska and Hawaii. In their hometown, during their younger years, they were part of a bowling league for many years. Rosalie continued to bowl in several leagues even after Clarence's passing.

Rosalie enjoyed gardening, puzzles and reading, especially books about the Royal family. She was an avid baseball fan, especially her favorite team, the Phillies. She was a super fan of the soap opera Days of Our Lives.

The family would like to recognize and thank the staff of Oak Leaf Manor North and Hospice for their care of Rosalie.

She is survived by her stepchildren, Linda M. (H. Bruce) Ranck, James P. (Emma) Irvin, five step grandchildren; Jimmy, CJ (Chris), Michelle, Jill (Brian), and Scott (Betsy), nine great grandchildren; Austin, Kyle, Devon, Alex, Mamie, Jared (Jill), Nathan (Meghan), Austin and Devin, as well as four great-great grandchildren. She leaves behind her Canadian family members on the west coast of Canada; six nieces; Cindy, Janine, Shari, Eileen, Lita, and Alena, and five great nieces; Carla, Mandy, Rhonda, Dawn, and Tamara, and many more family members that reside in Manitoba and Alberta, Canada.

She will always be their special rose as she was the last of her generation. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brothers, Leo L., Anthony, Fred L., and two sisters, Lillian, and Marcella.

Friends and Family are invited to attend Rosalie's Funeral Service on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Hamilton Parks U.C.C., 1210 Maple Ave, Lancaster, PA. The family will receive guests from 12 noon until the time of service. Interment will be private.
