Steven G. Brock

Steven “Steve” G. Brock, 77, of Zanesville, Ohio went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 8, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Steve was born on April 4, 1948 in Zanesville, a son of the late Clarence Brock Jr. and Betty (Murray) Brock Dodson. He attended Maysville High School and retired from Anchor Glass and Container. Steve enjoyed fishing, playing golf on Fridays with his son and grandson and enjoyed traveling with his loving wife and best friends Debbie and Jerry Erwine and Susie and Bob Pettit. Steve enjoyed coaching his kids in sports as they were growing up and took pride in watching his grandchildren play sports.

Steve is survived to cherish his memories by the love of his life of 60 years Patsy (Patterson) Brock. One son Troy (Susan) Brock of Zanesville. One daughter Lori (Mark) Smith of Columbus. One daughter-in-law Michelle (Mike) Brock Norman of Nashport. Grandchildren Austin (Sarah) Brock of Columbus, Abigail Brock of Columbus, Kylan Brock of Nashport, Travon Smith of Columbus, and Lucretia Smith of Zanesville. One brother Tom (Susan) Brock. One sister Kim (Tom) Wisecarver. Sister-in-laws Lisa (Brian) Kaufman, Diana (Jim) McCloy, Ruth Brock, and Teri Bowling. One brother-in-law Lee (Beth) Evans. Multiple nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his son Todd A. Brock. Three brothers Danny, Greg, and Jeff Brock. Mother-in-laws Noritta (Sissy) Evans and Eileen Chilcote. Father-in-laws Everett Pat Patterson, Joseph Evans, Sr. and Gerald Dodson. Grandparents Clarence Brock, Sr. and Belva Brock.

Friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wed. June 11, 2025 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thur. June 12, 2025 with Pat Wiseman-Jones officiating. Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park.
