Sylvia A. Best
January 6, 1937 - July 2, 2025 (Age 88)
Sylvia Anne (Rizzo) Best, 89, of Dacula Georgia, passed from this world to be with her Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ on July 1, 2025.
She was the wife of the late William Ray Best (2018); loving mother of Craig William Best (Lisa) Greencastle, Pa., Matthew Ray Best (Debbie) Dacula Ga., and David Samuel Best (Wendy) North Ridgeville, Oh. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Leo Rizzo (2003). She deeply loved her grandchildren, Willam Craig Best, Michael Lee Best (Jennifer), Cierra Ann (Best) Severns (Alex), Samuel Cody Best, Nathan Samuel Best and her three great grandchildren, Harper Grace Best, Wyatt Michael Best and Addison Ann Severns. Sylvia retired after a 30 year career at United Airlines. She was an avid Steelers and Pirate fan and loved to travel and visit the casinos. She will be dearly missed.
Friends will be received Friday, July 11, 2025, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 118 Shaw Avenue, Turtle Creek (412-823-1950). Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Fisher Church-St. Joseph the Worker Parish Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park. In-lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at Alz.org.
