Alexander Whitehead
May 13, 1990 - December 6, 2025 (Age 35)
With humble acceptance of God’s will, we sadly announce the passing of Alexander “Alex” Douglas Whitehead; who lived a life full of love.
Born in Lancaster, Pa to the loving parents George L. Whitehead and Brenda E. Stone. Alex passed away at the precious age of 35; on December 6, 2025 while surrounded by family.
A graduate of J.P McCaskey, he later attended HACC studying business and accounting. Alex was a lifetime member of the Boys &Girls Club of Lancaster. Alex looked forward to the holidays as he was a seasonal worker at Honey Hickory Farms. His patience and love knew no bounds; he loved picking up and delivering “food boxes” to those in need.
Alex is survived by his children: Nazir Whitehead of Harrisburg, Alexander “AJ” and Love Whitehead of Lancaster, Pa. His siblings, Edrie, Angelica, and William Dennison. George, James, and Shanea Whitehead all of Lancaster, Chelsea Stewart of New York, Otis Whitehead of Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Godmother Josephine Davis in addition to a host of Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
One of his greatest Honors was being an uncle to his 22 nieces/nephews and 21 great nieces/nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Reginald Dennison and Treavon Whitehead, maternal grandmother Agnes Dennison, paternal grandmother Estella Porter of Montego Bay, Jamaica; and his “organ donor brother” Sean Williams.
Unc will be forever remembered for his jokes, smile and surprise pop ups.
A Funeral Service will be held at Bethel AME Church, 450 East Strawberry Street Lancaster, PA 17602 on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 10:30 AM. Friends are welcome for the viewing starting at 9:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will immediately follow the service at Riverview Burial Park, Lancaster, PA.
