Alice Faye (Powell) Hill

Alice Faye Hill, 66, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021. Alice was born November 18, 1955 to the late Marion and Mary (Baumgardner) Powell. In addition to her parents, Alice is also preceded in death by three of her beloved sons, Larry, Jason and Justin Hill; brother, Clarence Powell; sister, Marietta DePuy; two grandchildren; great-nephew, Shad R. Adams; and brothers-in-law, Francis DePuy, Charles Dennis and Stewart Warden.

Alice leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Larry Hill; beloved children, Gregory Hill, Jeremiah McKown, Jonathan Hill, Amanda (Tim) McKown-McWilliams, James Hill and Dustin Hill; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ruby Dennis, Daisy (Gale) Winegardner, Robert (Denise) Powell, Reba Warden; Fern Reed and Marion (Carolyn) Powell, Jr.; sister-in-law, Millie Powell; very special friend, Kelly; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

Alice loved being outdoors and she was a lover of wildlife. She enjoyed actives such as painting ceramics, coloring, and completing puzzles. In Alice's earlier days, she enjoyed crocheting. Alice loved flowers and was know to keep beautiful gardens. She was a lover of people, especially her family and friends, who she cherished time with. Above most else, Alice enjoyed time with her grandchildren. Alice was a loving wife, mother and sister who will be deeply missed.

You may call on the family Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., as well as Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m., with funeral service to follow at 12 p.m., all of which is to be held at Burrell Funeral Services, in Zanesville. Alice will be laid to rest alongside her sons, in Memorial Park Cemetery following services. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
