Alice L. Harper

Alice Louise Harper, 67, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022 at Adams Lane Care Center. Alice was born November 1, 1955, in Zanesville, daughter of the late Loren R. and Alice M. (McNerney) Dobbins. In addition to her parents, Alice is also preceded in death by siblings, Susanna Dobbins, Michael Dobbins and Carol Wolfe; as well as a granddaughter, Penny Lane Harper.

Alice leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved children, Russ (Ashley) Harper, Jamie (Destiny) Harper, Kyle (Trinette) Harper and Stephanie Harper-Campfield; grandchildren, Hayley (Nathaniel), Exazvier, Jesse, Johnny, Hunter, Cecil "Luke", Matthew, Eva, Rihanna, Kara (Jackson) and Amber (Alexis); great-grandchildren, Bentley and Mylo; siblings, Tim (Donna) Dobbins, and Patty (Roy) Payne; special friend, Clayton Harper; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Following high school, Alice pursued an associates degree in business administration. She went on to dedicate 30 years of employment to United Technologies. In her free time, Alice enjoyed time spent with her children and grandchildren. She loved to bake, especially during the holidays. Christmas was her favorite holiday season. Alice was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan and loved to cheer them on. She also enjoyed relaxing and watching her favorite shows. Alice was kind to all she met. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

You may call on the family Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., funeral service will follow at 12 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services in Zanesville. Minister Donnie Watts officiating. Alice will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery near her beloved mother. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
