Allyn J. Bertolina

Allyn J. Bertolina, age 96, of Claridge, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025. Allyn was born on March 29, 1929, in Hahntown the son of the late Ernest and Etta (Eichler) Bertolina. Allyn was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church of Irwin. He retired from Irwin Sensenich Corporation. He was a very hard worker throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lillian Bertolina, his second wife, Betty Bertolina; his daughter, Renee’ Jensen, and his siblings Richard Bertolina, Dolores Cobert, and Judy Bertolina. Allyn is survived by his wife Anna (Diana) Bertolina; his children Deborah (Victor) McGavern of Monroeville; Allyn J. Jr. (Michele) Bertolina, of Franklin, PA; son-in-law Ross Jensen of Ft. Myers, FL and his and Lillian’s four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; his step-children (Anna’s children) Jody (Charles) Englert the late Charles (surviving Becky) Meigs, and the late Richard and Bobby Meigs; her 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; his second wife’s children Susan (William) Opaska; Cynthia (Alan) Painter; Kathleen (Gary) Wagner and Robert Dice; her 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild; and nieces. The family would like to thank Suncrest Hospice for the compassionate care of Allyn. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 1-6 PM in the Ott Funeral Home Inc., 805 Pennsylvania Ave. Irwin 724-863-8900. Additional visitation will be on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Hyung-Suk Joe officiating. Interment will follow in the Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon.
