Amadeo Yanez

Amadeo Yanez, 77, of Charlotte, died Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the Atrium Health Cabarrus Campus in Concord, NC.
Amadeo was born in El Salvador on February 10, 1947, the son of Remberto Yanez and Aparicia Maldonado. He grew up there, meeting and marrying Rosaura Maldonado. In June of 1990, he came to the United States, living and working in the Charlotte area. Amadeo worked as a production worker for Prestige Farms. When not working, he enjoyed farming, gardening, and going out to eat, especially with his grandchildren. Most of all, he enjoyed the time spent with family and friends.
Amadeo is survived by his wife, Rosaura; eight children: Blanca, Nelis (husband Juan Cerón), Mary, Dinora (husband Ademir Hernandez), Noel (wife Melva Reyes), Rene (wife Aracely Pacheco), Donaldo (wife Patricia Sanchez) and David (wife Yuris Cruz); grandchildren: Luis Palacios, Gisselle Palacios, Jairek Grande, Jerry Benitez, Gabriel Benitez, Paola Benitez, Leslye Hernández, Kimberly Hernández, Kevin Yanez, Wilber Yanez, Jayleen Yanez, Edward Rene Yanez, Erick Yanez, Diego Yanez, Dylan Yanez, David Yanez, Adelyn Yanez. Great-grandchildren: Evelyn Palacios, Mateo Palacios, Jayce Benítez, Juliet Benítez, Jaelie Benítez.
Amadeo is further survived by two brothers: Tomas Maldonado and Candido Maldonado.; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Amadeo’s family has given the family of Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home the privilege of caring for them and for him. Friends may call upon the family at the funeral home on Friday November 29, beginning at 3 pm. A vigil service will be held in the chapel at 5:30 and then the visitation will continue. The gathering will conclude at 8 pm. A graveside committal service will take place at 11 am on Saturday at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Charlotte, NC.
