Andrea F. Missiriotis
September 24, 1946 – April 1, 2026 (Age 79)
Andrea F. Missiriotis, 79, of Belle Vernon, died Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Born in Mt. Pleasant on September 24, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine (Kundrat) Kotis.
Andrea worked as a seamstress at Brookvale Sewing Factory in Monessen and also worked at Robbie's Dairy Delight. She loved spending time with her family, cousins and friends. Andrea, the domestic engineer, always enjoyed a Diet Pepsi, chocolate, potato chips and hosting all of Athena's friends at their home, no matter who it was or what time they all showed up. Andrea and her late husband George, enjoyed traveling in the RV and making trips to their boat on the Chesapeake, where Blue Crab was always on the menu. She also shared a special love of the Sioux Indians and their culture.
She is survived by daughter, Athena Missiriotis of Belle Vernon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, George Missiriotis, on November 23, 2025.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 12 Noon to 2 p.m. in the St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, 119 St. Spyridon Lane, Monessen, Pennsylvania 15062 where a Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. with Rev. Meletios Tianniodis officiating with Ordained Reader Matthew Kowasic offering the Eulogy. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the Amedisys Hospice nurses, aides and therapists and the aides and caregivers at Dunlevy Manor for their love and compassionate care of Andrea.
