Ann D. Privette
March 11, 1941 - July 27, 2022 (Age 81)
Ann LaVonne Dellinger Privette, 81, of Indian Trail, NC, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Novant Health Hospice in Charlotte, NC. She was lovingly cared for by her oldest son, Eric. She enjoyed listening to music and sermons on the BBN radio (Bible Broadcast Network). Back in her day, she enjoyed crafting, going on walks, reading and writing poetry. She was born on March 11, 1941 in Union County, NC, the youngest daughter of the five girl children of Irie Mae Conder Dellinger and Bynum "Bud" Boyd Dellinger.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gene Autry Privette; her son, Christopher "Dave" David Privette; her siblings, Janie Lou Winchester, Mary Mae Harris Conder Padgett, Betty Boyd Broome, and Evelyn Ruth "Pat" Pollock.
She is survived by her son, Gene Eric Privette (Carol Boyd); her grandsons, Christopher Boyd (Danielle) and Michael Boyd (Sandra); and her great-grandsons, Aidan Boyd and James Boyd.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at McEwen's Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews - Mint Hill Road, Charlotte, NC. A graveside service will be held at 9:00 am on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Mint Hill, NC.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ann's memory may be made to Novant Health Hospice at 324 N. McDowell Street, Suite 200 Charlotte, NC 28204 or The American Cancer Society for T-Cell Lymphoma research.
