Ann Marie Moyer
March 30, 1934 - March 30, 2025 (Age 91)
Ann Marie (Semet) Moyer, widow of Dale W. Moyer of Royersford; formerly of Pottstown passed away on Sunday March 30, 2025 at the Phoenixville Hospital.
Born March 30, 1934 in St. Peter's, PA to the late William and Julia (Bauer) Sailer. She was raised by an uncle and aunt, William and Caroline (Bauer) Semet.
She graduated from North Coventry High in 1952. She started her only job at Security Trust as a bank teller and worked thirty-eight years retiring in 1990.
She loved traveling and visited all 50 states and abroad.
She was a life member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Pottstown in which she taught Sunday School for twenty-five years and sang in the choir from age 14. She served in church council and also the Altar Guild serving as co-leader for many years.
She belonged to the Pottstown Garden Club serving several terms as treasurer. She also belonged to B.A.C.A. for twenty years, the Roamers walking group. Her hobbies include traveling, knitting, photography, baking, gardening, and playing cards.
Ann Marie is survived by a nephew, John H. husband of Sharon Semet, Boyertown. She was predeceased by a niece, Pauline C. Semet.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday April 4, 2025 at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King Street, Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Carl Filer. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. There will be a viewing Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
