Anna Lou (Faye) Hall, a beloved sister, aunt, and cherished member of our family, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on June 20, 1945, in Swamp Creek, Tennessee, Faye was a beacon of joy and optimism throughout her life, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Faye was the daughter of Horace and Gypsy Hall and was part of a large, closely-knit family, being one of eleven siblings. She was preceded in death by ten of her brothers and sisters, leaving behind her surviving brother, Jimmy (Jake) Hall, and his wife Mary of Indian Land, SC, as well as her brother-in-law, Charles Honeycutt of Fort Mill, SC. Faye’s nurturing spirit extended to her nephews, Joseph Baggett, Willie Baggett, and Eddie McMurray, and her niece, Vivian Segars, whom she helped raise with unwavering love and dedication.
Faye devoted her life to being a homemaker, finding fulfillment in caring for her family and maintaining a warm and welcoming home. She lived with her close family members, Chuck and Rachel, for most of her adult life, forming a bond that was a source of comfort and happiness for everyone involved. Known for her cheerful demeanor, Faye was always seen with a smile on her face, embodying a sense of happiness and tranquility that inspired those around her. She was a testament to the power of optimism, navigating her challenges with grace and a positive outlook.
Faye had a passion for cross-stitching and enjoyed playing games on her iPhone or tablet, finding joy in simple pleasures. Her laughter and love for family gatherings created countless cherished memories, reinforcing the importance of family ties. Though she never married and did not have children of her own, Faye’s nurturing nature and her role in the lives of her nephews and niece reflect the depth of her love.
The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in celebrating Faye’s life on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, located at 2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732. Prior to the service, visitors are welcome to pay their respects from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Following the service, Faye will be laid to rest at Grandview Memorial Park, 620 S. Cherry Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
In this time of sorrow, we remember Faye’s radiant spirit and the love she so freely gave to her family. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and the strength of familial bonds. We are grateful for the time we shared with her and will carry her memory in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, dear Faye; you will be dearly missed.
