Cumberland, MD-Anna Mae Beeghly, 90, of Cumberland, MD passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Cumberland Healthcare Center.
Born February 5, 1933 in Red Hill, MD, Mrs. Beeghly was the daughter of the late George Russell Clise and Alice Rosetta (Capel) Clise. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Donald Beeghly; her sons: Steven, Thomas and Richard Beeghly; and her siblings: Junior Clise, Eleanor Butler, Beatrice Browning, George Robert Clise, Charles Clise, and David Clise; and her 2 furbabies: Wags and Rani. Anna was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
A homemaker, Anna was a graduate of Beal High School Class of 1952 and was a former member of the Salvation Army. She and her husband enjoyed fleamarketing and they also rebuilt their van. She was an amazing crocheter and made many afghans over the years.
Anna is survived by her grandchildren: Steven “Dale” Beeghly Carmen and wife Christina; Joshua Beeghly and wife Nicole; Nathan Beeghly and fiancée Miranda Porter, and Donald Beeghly; her great-grandchildren: Samantha, Emily, Mackenzie, Paxton, Parker, Easton, and Alex; her sisters-in-law: Martha Beeghly, with whom she resided, Sue Hamrick, and Karen Clise; and her brothers-in-law: Willis “Bub” Browning, Bill Beeghly; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD Friday, January 12, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Tim Pratt officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
