Annabelle Meisberger
August 26, 1931 - July 9, 2024 (Age 92)
Annabelle J. Meisberger, 92, of Zanesville, died July 9, 2024, at 10:26 A.M. She was born August 26, 1931, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Thomas M. Jones and Velma (Handwork) Jones Burkhart. She was a member of the St. James Episcopal Church and had been the proud owner of her businesses, The Second Act and Paperback Place. Annabelle was known for her love of reading, and her sense of style. She could often be found browsing her favorite clothing stores, nose deep in a book, sketching flowers or piecing together puzzles. Her appreciation for a fine meal was matched only by her insistence that her drink always be filled with ice to the very top! Her warm smile and attention to detail will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by two children, daughter Lisa A. (Jeffrey) Lemert and son Robert Steven (Cynthia) Meisberger; six grandchildren, Kali (Devin) Miller, Paige (Edward) Morgan, Kristen (Bryan) Wilson, Elisha Betancourt, Julie (Josh) Garcia and Cina (Alfredo) Fratti; thirteen great grandchildren; and her best friend Harriet Malas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bob” Meisberger, who died February 19, 1976; two brothers, Jack Jones and Tom Jones; two sisters, Pauline Grosscup and Iva Jones; and a granddaughter Lindsey Meisberger.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all those who have helped care for Annabelle over the years, including her caretakers Tammy and Lynn and the staff at Genesis Hospice Morrison-House.
Friends and family may call one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held at 12:00 NOON on Friday, July 12, 2024, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Bob at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
