Anne Cunningham

Anne C. (Brozinsky) Cunningham, 103, of Monongahela, (Carroll Twp.), passed away on July 22, 2024 at the Mon-Valley Care Center, Carroll Twp. Anne was born on January 10, 1921, a daughter of the late Joseph and Bessie (Prustka) Brozinsky. She worked for many years at Corning Glass in Charleroi and was a member of the Home Makers in Charleroi and St. Andrew the Apostle Parish (St. Phillips) in Donora. The last surviving member of her immediate family, Anne is survived by a God son James (Karen Barbao) Brletich of Monongahela, many nieces and nephews and their children, a sister in law Kathleen Wallace and Anne's neighbors for all their help and love over the years who she considered family, Barry and Eugena Applegate and their daughters Lisa (Henry) Fonzi (daughters Hadley and Kendal Fonzi), Leslie (Mike) Johnston, Kristen Loehlein, Sodiq Khidirov and family. She was preceded in death by her husband James J. Cunningham who passed away May 16, 2003, two brothers Joseph Jr. and Alex Brozinsky, a sister Helen Ludwig and a niece Rose Marie Brletich. Friends will be received in the Marshall Marra Funeral Home, 216 Chess Street, Monongahela, 724-258-6767 from 5-8pm on Thursday. Prayers will begin in the funeral home on Friday at 9:15am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial that will be Celebrated with Fr. Tom Kadlick as celebrant beginning at 10am in St. St Andrew the Apostle Parish, (Donora Site). Interment will follow in Mon-Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
