Anthony E. Pushnik

Anthony E. “Chub” Pushnik, 83, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, October 13, 2021, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born September 25, 1938 in Carbon (Hempfield Township), a son of the late Anthony “Tony” and Harriet R. “Dolly” (Fetter) Pushnik. He was a partner at Pushnik Brothers Excavation Contractors of Carbon. Chub enjoyed hunting, traveling to NASCAR races in his 1947 GM motorcoach bus and more recently going to car shows. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy G. (Smartnik) Pushnik. He is survived by his brothers, Jerome A. Pushnik and Ronald L. Pushnik and his life partner Kathy Day of Greensburg and several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation or services. A gathering of friends will be held Sunday at 12:30 pm at Chub’s home.
