Augustine Barbalace
July 14, 1957 - October 20, 2023 (Age 66)
Augustine “Gus/Tino” Barbalace, 66, passed away Friday, October 20th, 2023 at the Berkshire Center.
He was a son of the late Anthony and Nancy (Cristofaro) Barbalace.
Gus was a lifelong resident of Stowe, PA and a graduate of St. Pius X High School, class of 75'. He received his B.S. from Albright College where he majored in accounting and finance. Gus later went on to receive his Master from St. Joseph's University in marketing and finance. Gus started his Financial Analyst career at Fresenius Medical Care. Then went on to work at Kencrest Services as a Fiscal Director for over 20 years. Gus retired in March 2023 from Albright College as a Senior Accountant.
Gus loved to travel the world. In his spare time, he enjoyed skydiving, collecting celebrity autographs, zombie walks, Greek/Roman art and history, and movies; especially scary ones. He was also a big Eagles and Phillies fan.
Gus is survived by his siblings, Donna D’Emilio (husband Rocco) and Frank Barbalace (wife Cathy), as well as his beloved African grey parrot, Molly, his nephews; Derek D’Emilio (Audrey) and Jordan D’Emilio and nieces; Sarah D’Emilio Smith (T.J.), Taylor Barbalace Findley (Kent) and Devon Barbalace. Also, two great-nieces and one great-nephew.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023 at St. Gabriel's Lodge, 525 Jefferson St., Stowe PA, 19464. A visitation for friends and family will start at 11 a.m. till 2 p.m. Eulogies and prayers from family and friends will begin at noon. Lunch will follow at 12:30 p.m.
