Avanelle L. Mickle

Avanelle Mickle, 96, of Alum Bank, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Pennknoll Village.
She was born on October 2, 1925 in Lovely; daughter of the late Steward and Sadie (Allison) Mock.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Mickle, who passed away in 2005; sons, Gary and Terry Mickle; granddaughter, Stephanie Michaels; and numerous brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son, Bobby and wife Kim Mickle of Alum Bank; daughter, Wendy and husband Steve Wallace of Palmyra, Pa; 6 grandchildren, Charity Meyer, Adam Mickle, Kristin Kreider, Tyler Wallace, Luke Mickle, and Grace Mickle; 4 great-grandchildren, Adora and Kenton Meyer; Aliyah and Bailey Mickle; and one great grandchild on the way.
Avanelle was a member of the Dunnings Creek Church of the Brethren. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Vaughn Loose officiating at the Dunning’s Creek Church of the Brethren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dunning’s Creek Church of the Brethren, 195 Church Rd. New Paris, Pa 15554.
