Barbara Ann (Tippett) Bresock 91 of Columbus, Ohio died October 15, 2023 at the Normandy Care Center in Rocky River, Ohio. Daughter of Viola and Edward Tippett. Wife of George Bresock for 53 years and Mother of her beloved daughter Mary Ruth Bresock.
Barbara was born on March 12, 1932 in Wheeling, West Virginia. After marrying George, they moved to Columbus, Ohio. She worked as a beautician until Mary Ruth was born. She then became a full-time mother. She enjoyed ceramics, going to events with her Mary Ruth. Barbara was a longtime member of St. James the Less Catholic Church.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband George; sister Ruth Britton; brothers: Robert, John, and Donald Tippett; along with her beloved daughter Mary Ruth. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Maxine Purnhagen; and numerous other special people in her life.
Visitation will be held at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home at 20820 Lorain Road in Fairview Park from 4-7pm on Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am, Friday at St. James the Less Catholic Church, 1652 Oakland Park in Columbus. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memory Gardens.
