Barbara Ann Heisey, 77, of Lancaster, formerly of Willow Street passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at her son, Troy's home after a courageous fight with cancer. Born on January 22, 1947 in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Charles A., Sr. and Lydia Waltz Ream. She was the wife of Robert L. Heisey who preceded her in death in 2012.
Barb worked for many years for the former Willow Valley Motel in Housekeeping. She then enjoyed many years working for the former Darrenkamps Market in Willow Street. She enjoyed trips to the mountains, especially Tioga and Cambria Counties and Myrtle Beach. She enjoyed cleaning and rearranging her home, more often than most.
Barbara will be missed by her sons, Troy L., husband of Stacey A. Heisey of Lancaster and Ronald L., companion of Justine Peters of Columbia; grandchildren, Amanda, Sara and Danielle and great grandchildren, Leelynn and Meilani. She is also survived by her sister, Dorothy, wife of B. Scott Turner of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles A. Ream, Jr.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of Barb's family. Interment will be held in the Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster.
