Barbara Ann Feola

Barbara Ann Feola, 81, a resident of Loyalhanna Senior Suites and Personal Care Home, Latrobe, formerly of Jeannette, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023. She was born December 11, 1941, Harrison City, the daughter of the late John and Alvina Malone Whirlow. Prior to her retirement Barbara was employed by the former K Mart in Greensburg for 40 years, and the Advanced Auto Parts in Jeannette for 20 years. She was a member of the Ascension Church Jeannette. Barbara enjoyed cooking and baking, especially her cakes. She would welcome the family every week for Sunday dinners.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her husband Pasquale “Patsy” Feola in 2022; a daughter Annette Jioio in 2022; and a sister Dorothy Malone.

She is survived by a daughter Michelle Sylvania and husband Christopher, of Latrobe; a son Patsy Feola and wife Gina of Greensburg; a son-in-law Tony Jioio, of Greensburg; grandchildren, Carmen Sylvania and wife Mollie, Christopher Sylvania, Jr., Gabrielle Sylvania, Nichol, Patsy, and Natalie Feola, and Augustine, Bella, and Angelo Jioio; great grandchildren, Camilla and Salvatore Sylvania, and Gianna Isabella Feola; a sister, Sharlene Shotts of Greensburg, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Barbara’s family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Loyalhanna Senior Suites and Personal Care nurses and staff, and the Bridges Hospice, for the exceptional care and kindness that Barbara received.

Friends will be received 3 to 6pm Sunday in the John V. Graziano Funeral Home Inc., 228 North 2nd St. Jeannette. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00am Monday in the Ascension Church with Fr. Job Foote as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park, Hempfield Twp.
