Barbara Freeman
July 27, 1933 – May 24, 2026 (Age 92)
Barbara A. Freeman of Greenville, SC, passed peacefully on Saturday, May 24, 2026, surrounded by her family. Barbara was the daughter of Robert and Leona Hanna of Rockhill, SC. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Howard L. Freeman III.
She leaves two sons, Howard Freeman, IV, of Turret, Colorado, and Charles, and his wife, Ruth, of Greenville, SC; her grandchildren, Linnea Freeman, of Greenville, Bryn and James, Hannah Freeman, and her partner Jake, and, Abby and Rowan, of Springfield, MA. In addition, she leaves Karen Freeman, of Arvada, Colorado.
Barbara was a member of the Living Church of God.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
A visitation will be held Friday, May 29, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.
