Barbara Jane Gee,89, of Zanesville passed away Saturday October 5, 2024 at Genesis Hospital.
She was born in Zanesville on August 17, 1935 to the late William and Lettie Norris Keyser. Barb was well known as a wonderful cook and baker, this talent led her to become the cook at Helen Purcell Home. She enjoyed watching old Western Television programs, her dogs, and her wonderful family. Barb was a friend to all that knew her and enjoyed going to Bob Evans.
She is survived by her loving daughter Donna Ellis, a beloved sister Joanne Kaiser, Four cherished grandchildren: Kimberly (Amanda) Harris, Dawn (Jason) Landis, James Jenkins, Craig (Christa) Gee, Six Great-grandchildren: Tyler (Kearstin), Taylor (Cody), Shauna (Sean), Summer, Autumn, and Anthony, Four Great-Great-grandchildren: Tayleanna, Asher, Rowan, and Rayne.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Timothy Gee, Two Brothers: Bill, and Joe, Six Sisters: Sue, Nancy, Marg, Jean, Pauline, and Catherine, and a Son In Law Harold Ellis.
Calling Hours will be from 11am-1pm on Wednesday October 9 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. The funeral will begin at 1pm in The Snouffer Chapel. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
