Barry Burnell Dom

Barry Burnell Dom, age 83, passed away peacefully at home, on August 5th.
Born on July 23, 1943, in York, to Claude and Evelyn Armstrong, Barry was a proud Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He will be remembered for his dedication, his service, his big heart, and his infectious smile.
He retired after 23 fulfilling years at LaSalle Bristol — a career that brought him not only professional success, but lifelong friendships.
Beyond his career, Barry enjoyed golfing, camping, and cheering on Penn State football, but above all, he cherished being "The World's Greatest PopPop."
His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his wife of 34 years, Brenda Lee Jumbelick Dom. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love and family.
In addition to his wife, Barry leaves behind his eight children: Rick Dom, Christopher Dom, Brian Dom, Julie Jumbelick, Michael Jumbelick, Ashley Falstick, Matthew Dom, and Alexis Dom; his 19 grandchildren; and his 5 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his uncle, Edgar "Bud" Garrett; his brother, Dave Dom; an infant son, who passed at birth; and a granddaughter, Kirsten Dom.
A visitation will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 10-11 AM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 441 N. George St. Millersville, with a funeral service beginning at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Conestoga Memorial Park.
