Barry D. Belusar, 67, of New Kensington, formerly of Penns Woods in North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.
Born on October 2, 1958, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Robert and Eileen Belusar.
Barry was the beloved husband of Jennifer (Strobel) Belusar, with whom he shared 18 wonderful years of marriage. He was a loving father to Jodie (Mark) Spagnolli, Michael (Erica) Tokarsky, and Damon (Savannah) Davis. He was also like a father to Chrissie and Jeremy Belusar. Barry was a proud and devoted grandfather to Jacob and Jordan Spagnolli, Faye Tokarsky, and Charlotte Davis, who brought him immense joy. He is also survived by his brothers, Robert Belusar Jr. and Paul (Suzanne) Wray. Barry is fondly remembered by his brothers-in-law, Mark (Carole), Matt (Gigi), and Mike (Kara) Strobel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Teresa Henderson and Lisa Wray.
Barry is the proud uncle of Larissa, Marina, Miles, Chris, and Nick. He is also a loving great uncle to Trisha, P.J., Bubba, Lisa, Oliver, Noah, Kora, Grant, Jack, Juliet, Abby, Bentley, and Eleanor.
Barry will be remembered for his generous spirit and willingness to help anyone in need. He enjoyed cooking, camping, working on classic cars, and found great satisfaction in lending a hand whenever he could. Above all else, Barry treasured the time he spent with his family and friends, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come.
Friends and family will be received on Monday, June 29, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at RJ Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 1000 Freeport Road, New Kensington.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel, with committal services to follow at Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park, Irwin.
