Bernard R. Cottrell, 86 of Kimbolton, passed away May 14, 2021 at Southeastern Medical Center.
He was born September 1, 1934 in Arnoldsburg, WV, son of the late, Andrew Dewey Cottrell and Lillie Lane Cottrell. He retired from Kaiser Aluminum in Newark, OH.
He is survived by his children, Andy Cottrell, Mary Wagner, Pam Waldie; brothers, Marvin Cottrell, Calvin Cottrell; sister Violet Wallace; grandchildren, Andrea Cottrell, Kayla Wagner; two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Linda Maxwell Cottrell; son Robert McCoid; brothers, Raymond Cottrell, Haymond Cottrell; sisters, Norma Woods, Alberta Stump, Jean Trail; grandsons, Shane Cottrell, Anthony Cottrell and Allen Wagner.
Calling hours will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday May 19, 2021 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 1:00 PM with Rev. Darren Tolbert officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
