Bernice Anders Mobley, 92, of Rock Hill, SC entered into Eternal Life on February 25, 2025, in Knoxville, TN. She was born on July 3, 1932, Rock Hill, SC to Mack Andrews and Jannie May McClenahan.
Bernice was a graduate of Emmett Scott High School where she excelled academically. She went on to marry William E. Mobley Senior in1953 where their union produced eight children. She was a loving and devoted mother who focused on supporting her family, often putting their needs before her own. She retired from Pedimont Medical Center, where she advanced to Housekeeping Supervisor and in her retirement, she worked at Ebenezer Elementary School. She was often a quiet person but when she spoke it was with words of wisdom, and she had a sense of humor that always brought a smile to your face. To her grandchildren/great grandchildren, she was a loving support often caring for them. Some of her hobbies included sewing, reading, and baking (she certainly had a sweet tooth
She was preceded in death by her father, Mack Andrews; mother, Janie May Andrews; brothers Mack Andrews, Jr., Dewey Andrews, Roy “Buster” Anders, John Anders, Donnie Anders; sisters, Bobbie Anders and Jane Anders; son, John C. Mobley; and grandson, Robert “Jason” Mobley.
Those left to cherish her loving memory include sister, Thelma Anders Beatty; daughters, Gwendolyn Sims (Leroy), Jacqueline Mobley, Katherine Mickel, Jane Mobley, and Bonita Mobley; sons, William E. Mobley, Jr.(Jacqueline), Mark Mobley; grandchildren Rodney Sims (Paige), Cynethia Smith (Kenny), Daniel Ptah, Megan Mickel, Zachary Mickel, Terrance Mobley, Marcus Mobley, Xavien Mobley-James, Darnell Mobley, Kenneth Mobley; great-grandchildren, Ja’leaya Mobley, Amaury Mobley, Terrance “Malik” Mobley, Judah Sims, Leona Sims; sister-in-law,Annie M Anders and a host of other relatives and friends.
