Bernice Babb

Cumberland, MD – Bernice Virginia (Croston) Babb, 99, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Peaceful Healthcare at the Lions Center.
Born August 5, 1922, in Levels, WV, Mrs. Babb was the daughter of the late James Croston and Virginia (Baker) Croston. She was also preceded in death by her husband: George M. Babb; her twin brother: Bernard Croston; and two other brothers: Delvin and Clifton Croston.
Bernice was a member of the LaVale Ladies Auxiliary, and she helped out with Boy Scouts.
Bernice is survived by her son: Wayne Babb; and extended family: Ronald Talley, Lawrence Talley, and Steven Eirich. She is also survived by her caregivers: Susan Smith and Krista Kennell.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Harold McClay Jr. officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
