Bertha N. Tootsie Klaus

Rock Hill – Mrs. Bertha N. “Tootsie” Klaus, 91, entered into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, December 2, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Grandview Memorial Park – Cherry Road, with her son, Richard L. Klaus, Jr. and Rev. Michael Tyler officiating. Following will be a memorial service at 3:00 pm at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill.
Born in Nesmith, SC, Mrs. Klaus was the daughter of the late Solon Thomas Nesmith and the late Rosa Smith Nesmith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee Klaus, Sr. She was a homemaker who enjoyed being at home and being a wife and mother. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She lived her life with a solid faith and hope in the Lord, Jesus Christ, and is at peace and rejoicing with him now.
Surviving are her son, Richard L. (Cindy) Klaus Jr. of Indian Trail, NC; her grandson, Justin Adam (Errica) Klaus of Charlotte, NC; her sister, Ann Van Dyke of Winchester, VA; and her brother-in-law, Billy Garrison of Richmond, VA.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC.
