Betty A. Hoagland 85, of Bedford, died Monday, November 29, 2021 at Nancy’s Personal Care Home. She was born on June 7, 1936 in Ellerslie, MD a daughter of the late Ralph and Mabel (Zeigler) Kramph. On August 23, 1962 in Towson, MD she married Donald Hoagland who survives along with numerous nieces and nephews; and sister Janey Williams and husband James, of Florida.
Betty graduated from the Sinai School of Nursing in Baltimore, MD and was Registered Nurse at the former Bedford County Home, and Donahoe Manor Nursing Home. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to see country music shows, and reading. The family would like to express their thanks to Nancy and Heather at Nancy’s Personal Care Home for their compassionate care they gave to Betty.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford with Pastor David Wright officiating. Friends will be received on Friday, from 10:00 a.m., until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
