Betty Woody Buchanan, 88, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2024 at Terra Bella

Assisted Living Memory Care Unit with her family by her side.

Her family will receive friends on Monday, January 8, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at

Providence Baptist Church, 5315 Hwy 49 S., Harrisburg, NC 28075, with funeral service

to follow at 12:00 PM. Private Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens

Mausoleum.

Born May 27, 1935 in Bakersville, NC, Betty was the daughter of the late Wyatt William

Woody and Loucreta Wise Woody. She was a homemaker and a member of University

Hills Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Edward Buchanan. She is survived

by two daughters, Debbie Little and husband Barry, and Angie Wilder and husband

Mike; three grandchildren Kyle Wilder, Wyatt Little, and Courtney Wilder; and one

brother, Fred Woody of Hildebran NC.
