Betty J. Menhorn

Betty J Menhorn, 91, of Armbrust, passed away on the 7th day of December 2023, with her son, Jim by her side. Betty was raised up to the heavens above to be united with her Savior and waiting family. She was born on August 27, 1932, in Wyano, the daughter of the late C. Edgar and Clara (Bash) Overly. Betty was a member of the Armbrust Wesleyan Church and the Greensburg Garden and Civic Center. She is survived by her son, James Menhorn, and his wife, Diane, of Latrobe; her beloved grandchildren, Douglas Menhorn, and his wife, Rachel, of Greensburg and Tiffany Menhorn of Pittsburgh and her great grandson, Jack. Betty is also survived by her sister, Helen Overly, of McConnellsburg and her brother, Charles Overly, and his wife, Barb, of Ruffsdale. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Menhorn; her son, Ronald Menhon; her infant daughter; her siblings, Louise Keilbach, Harry Overly, Twila Greene and Patty Shultz. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, Dec. 10, from 3-7 pm. in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood. Additional visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 11 from 10:30-11 am., with a funeral service to follow, at the Armbrust Wesleyan Church, 7790 State Route 819, Hunker. Interment will be private.
