Betty J. Schaeffer

Betty J. Schaeffer, 86, of Lancaster entered eternal rest on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Lancaster General Hospital. She was the widow of the late Charles Schaeffer. She was born in Oxford, PA, and was the loving daughter of the late Anna McComsey.
Betty liked to cook, but her greatest love was being a mother and a grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Schaeffer of Lancaster and Rebecca Salas (Tony) of Quarryville, and sons, Charles B. Schaeffer, Jr. (Andora) of Tennessee and William Schaeffer (Bonnie) of Manheim; fifteen grandchildren, Lyrinda, Lyndsey, Kenneth, Brian, Sara, Michael, Christopher, Amanda, Adam, Heather, Eric, William, Jr, Jennifer, Nevada, and Ozzy; numerous great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by three sons, Thomas, David, and Michael.
