Betty Manjardi

November 12, 1930 - September 7, 2024 (Age 93)

Betty (Frech) Manjardi, 93, of Media, PA and formerly of Heckel Ave., Spring City, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday at the home of her daughter in Media, PA. She was the widow of Joseph A. Manjardi who died in 2012 and they celebrated 60 years together.

Born in Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Jacob Frech and the late Pearl (Dengler) Frech. Betty was employed in the office of the YMCA of Pottstown, and had previously worked at the former Sweadore Mill operating a button hole machine. She had worked at Ellis Mills and Fashion Bug as a sales clerk and in the shipping department of Firestone. Her last employment was with National Liberty Insurance as a secretary. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and was a member of the Senior Circle. Betty volunteered delivering Meals on Wheels. Betty loved going out to dinner, being with the family and visiting her grandchildren and great children.

Surviving is one daughter, Kimberly I. wife of Wayne Middleton, Media; grandchildren, Wayne Middleton; Kristina Middleton and Jessica O'Brien. Great grandchildren, Ava, Brooke and Bryan McDonald; Hailey, Blake and Aiden Middleton; Brielle and Jayce O'Brien. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Frech, and sisters, June Zerr; LaRue Casper; and Mary Ann Pence.

Betty will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King St. Pottstown. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown. There will be a viewing from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday at the funeral home.

Contributions may be made in her memory to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, "Shares of Faith", 150 N. Hanover St., Pottstown, PA 19464.

The services will start at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory.
