Beverly Ficco

November 14, 1936 - January 16, 2026 (Age 89)

Beverly O. Ficco, 89, of Greensburg, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully at Mountain View Memory Care on January 16, 2026. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Beverly will be lovingly remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the joy she brought to everyone around her.

Born on November 14, 1936, Beverly lived a life centered on faith, family, and love. Her greatest pride and joy was her family, especially her grandsons and her first great granddaughter, who had a very special place in her heart.

Over the years, Beverly worked in many capacities, including at Westmoreland Manor, Seton Hill University, and ultimately retired from Ronnette Corporation. Her strong work ethic and gracious spirit left the lasting impression on all who had the privilege of working alongside her. Beyond her professional life, she shared her beautiful voice as a member of the choir at Saint Paul’s Parish, where she was a faithful and active member.

Beverly’s enthusiasm for life was infectious. A passionate sports fan, she rarely missed a Pittsburgh Steelers game or the thrill of March Madness. In her younger years, she was a talented ballerina and majorette, later finding joy in traveling – especially her favorite trip to Germany. Beverly also dearly loved her dogs and “grand dogs”, who brought her great comfort and happiness.

Always kindhearted and generous, Beverly was the cornerstone of family gatherings, welcoming everyone with warmth, laughter, and her exceptional cooking.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Donald A. Ficco. High school sweethearts, their marriage was a beautiful example of lifelong love and devotion. She is survived by her son Mark A. Ficco and his partner, Rebecca Lehosky; her daughter, Michelle A. Yackovich; her grandsons, Mark D. Ficco and his wife Daniela Domestici, and Kaden Ficco; and her cherished great granddaughter, Camilla I. Ficco.

Beverly was preceded in death by her mother, Julia Filicky Ovsec; her father, Victor Ovsec; her mother-in-law, Edith Rupp Ficco; and her father-in-law, Tony Ficco.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Mountain View Memory Care and Grane Hospice for their loving care and support of Beverly over the past three years.

Beverly’s legacy of Faith, love, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Tuesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Paul’s Parish, Greensburg.
