Blanche Heath

Blanche M. Heath, 97, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, August 7, 2024. She was born February 28, 1927, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Bert and Margaret Harrold McIlvaine. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren, Southwest Greensburg. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Wallace H. Heath; a son, Leslie Wallace Heath; a great-granddaughter, Rebecca Shaner; a sister, Dorothy McCracken; and a daughter-in-law, Bonnie Banner. Blanche is survived by two sons: Barron Lynn Banner (friend Debbie), of South Greensburg, and Galen Heath (Effie), of Saltsburg; two daughters: Iris Crusan (James), of Greensburg, and Starlee DiCriscio, of New Alexandria; 8 grandchildren: James and Donald Crusan, Holly Shaner and Nicole Fye, Jason and Derrick DiCriscio, and Jonathan and Christopher Banner; and 8 great-grandchildren: Katrina, Autumn, Mariah, Shelbylynn, Trynadee, Dannilee, Zachary, and Haven. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Latrobe Hospital 2 West and especially hospice nurse, Lois Wonzy.
