Cumberland, MD – Bonnie Lou Talley, 65, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Born October 19, 1955, in Cumberland, MD, Miss Talley was the daughter of the late Joseph Edward Talley, Jr., and Shirley Louise (Wigger) White. She was also preceded in death by her brother: Edward Talley; and her aunt: Jean Wigger.
A graduate of Allegany High School, Class of 1973, Bonnie also graduated from Allegany College of Maryland and retired from Memorial Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse with 20 years of service. She then worked for Dr. Coutras and finished her career with Dr. Brian Hasslinger. Bonnie loved to cook, make candy, crochet, and was an avid bingo player.
Bonnie is survived by her long-time partner, Wayne Babb; and her sons: Ronald Talley and wife, Angie; and Larry Talley and wife, Lesley. She also leaves behind her sisters: Beverly Linn and boyfriend, Leroy Gomer; Diana Figard and husband, John; and Susan Smith and husband, Gary; her grandchildren: Alyvia, Ethan, Caden, Benjamin, and Breelynn; her aunt: Janet Payne; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Sunday, October 10, 2021, from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, October 11, 2021, at 11:00 A.M., with Father Greg Brown, O.F.M. Cap., officiating.
