Bradey Jennings Loffert, 37, of Morgantown, WV, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022.

Born June 4, 1984, in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of John C. Loffert and wife, Christy, and Kelly S. (Dunn) Mackie and husband, Tim.

Bradey was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Robert H. and Edith (Paletta) Loffert; maternal grandmother, Rosalie (Goad) Dunn.

Bradey was a graduate of Bishop Walsh School, class of 2002. During his high school career, he was an outstanding athlete who played football and was MAC Conference Defensive Player of the Year. In 2006, he graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration. He worked as a certified financial planner and a certified licensed underwriter. He was associated with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network and had been a board member of Generation West Virginia Morgantown’s Advisory Board. He was also a member of the Morgantown Area Chamber of Commerce.

As a talented football player, Bradey was recognized as MVP. He was a Pittsburgh Steelers and WVU fan who also enjoyed golfing with his brother and grandfather. He also loved going to music festivals and seafood boils. More than anything he loved his family.

Left behind to cherish his memory, in addition to his parents, are his maternal grandfather, James J. Dunn; sister, Raleigh S. Davis and husband, Rich; brother, Haven Z. Mackie; nephews, Kellen Jennings Davis and Jase Loffert Davis; numerous loving step siblings, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, MD, on Sunday, May 29, 2022, from 2 to 5pm. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 5pm. The family asks that all attendees wear a mask. Entombment in Restlawn Memorial Gardens will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bishop Walsh School, 700 Bishop Walsh Rd, Cumberland, MD 21502.
