BRIAN SWEENEY ("COACH ELI'), age 66, passed away Friday, October 29, 2024, at home. He enjoyed watching Ohio State football and basketball, and he loved coaching Little League baseball and women's softball for his sisters and nieces. Preceded in death by grandmother Emma Sweeney, and mother Sally Heath.
Survived by sisters, Lori (Mark) Smith, Katrina Crum, and Deanna (Anthony) Snodgrass; brother Brent Sweeney; nieces Niwanna Thompson, Christina (Michael) Back, Megan (Jeff) Hinton, and Stacy Crum; nephews, Keith Crum, Joshua Sweeney, Garrett Sweeney, and Gavin Snodgrass; great-nieces and -nephews, Braxton Hinton, Michael Back Jr., Austin Hinton, Moriah Back, Tenley Sweeney, and Alyssa Thompson.
Visitation with the family will be held 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, November 7, 2024 at COOK & SON - PALLAY FUNERAL HOME 1631 Parsons Avenue. A graveside committal service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 8, at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens (where family and friends will gather directly) with Pastor Michael Back Officiating
