Brian Anthony Thomas 43 of Jeannette died Sunday September 26, 2021 at home. He was born March 11, 1978 in Jeannette a son of Salvatore "Sam" Thomas Jr. and Mary Anne (Douglas) Thomas of Jeannette. In addition to his parents Brian is survived by his sister Sarah Ponzetti and her husband Domenick of Jeannette, his brother Jordan Thomas and his wife Michelle of Harrison City, three nephews Dominico and Lorenzo Ponzetti and Knox Thomas, a great aunt Fern Long, aunt Susan and uncle Jay Cline and great uncle Glenn Diehl. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Cecelia and Salvatore Thomas Sr. and his maternal grandmother June Douglas. Brian was a graduate of Jeannette High School Class of 1996 and St. Vincent College Class of 2000. He was currently working at the family business C&S Market and he belonged to Ascension Church, Jeannette Italian Club and was an avid golfer. Brian lived his life to the fullest, he loved his friends and family with his whole heart and he was loved in return by all who knew him. Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette. A funeral mass will be celebrated Friday at 1:00 PM in Ascension Church, Jeannette with Fr. Job Foote as celebrant. Interment will follow in Jeannette Memorial Park.
