August 21, 1964 - January 4, 2025 (Age 60)
Bryan T. Berch, 60, of West Newton, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 21, 1964 in Grove City, PA. Son of the late Thomas P. and Ruth (Ackerman) Berch. He graduated from Yough Senior High School Class of 1983 and was on the football team. He then went on to attend and graduate from St. Vincent College Class of 1988. Bryan was a business manager for Sewickley Pines and Berch Enterprises for 25+ years. He also worked as a supervisor on construction for CH&D Enterprises, Inc. and for Berch Trucking, as well as being a Team Lead for Walmart for 5 years. Bryan was a very quiet person with a quick wit. He was family oriented and enjoyed the simple things in life. He enjoyed woodworking and built the family home; producing all the woodwork including the cabinets and furniture. He loved building computers, working in the garden with his dad Tom and many trips to Texas. He loved spending time with his best friend and wife, Shirley, as well as his pride and joys, Remi and Everlee. He enjoyed learning about space and watching Star Wars and documentaries on television. He is preceded in death by both parents and survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Shirley A. (Lee) Berch of West Newton, PA; daughters, Rachel Donlan of West Newton, PA and Olivia (Kyle) Graziano of Kentucky; step-son, Patrick S. Foster of Texas; grandchildren, Maddie Donlan, Remi Graziano, Benjamin Foster and Noah Foster; great granddaughter, Everlee Donlan; special nephew, Zachary Berch; brother, Barry (Janice) Berch of Tennessee and bonus mom, Sandy Berch of N. Huntingdon, PA. Friends will be received from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, PA 15663 – Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at the funeral home with Pastor John Mannon officiating. A private interment will follow at the Westmoreland Memorial Park Cemetery in Greensburg, PA.
