Bunny E. Rambler
April 1, 1934 – October 15, 2026 (Age 92)
Bunny E. Rambler, 92, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2026. Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of the late Burdette Miller and Kathryn (Todd) Miller. She was the loving wife of Glen H. Rambler, with whom she shared 71 years of marriage until his passing in 2025.
Redeemer Lutheran Church was an important part of Bunny’s life and family history, as her father was one of the church’s founding members. Over the years, Bunny was a devoted member who generously shared her time and talents. She taught Sunday school, helped plan church activities, and participated in the women’s group. Her spirit of service extended beyond the church through years of volunteer work. She also enjoyed playing guitar and singing for residents of nursing homes, continuing this ministry well into her mid-80s.
Bunny was a member of the Valley Lea Riding Club. She and her family spent countless hours riding together from sunrise to sunset, creating cherished memories her children will always hold dear. Bunny also had a deep love of music and enjoyed playing the guitar. Her compassion extended to animals of all kinds, and she often cared for orphaned wild animals, nursing them back to health. Her dedication to helping wildlife even earned her a feature in a local newspaper after she saved a possum that found a home in her care.
Bunny is survived by her two sons, Steven Glen Rambler (Diane) and Mark Kevin Rambler (Jacqueline), both of Lancaster, PA; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her beloved husband, Glen, she was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Burdette Miller Jr., Howard Miller, Russell Miller, John Miller, and Betty Childs.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bunny’s funeral service at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 500 Pearl Street, Lancaster, PA, on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Bob Ierien officiating. A viewing will take place from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
