C. William Landau
June 8, 1930 - December 12, 2025 (Age 95)
C. William Landau, 95, of Lancaster County, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025, at home, after a long illness with cancer, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Sara R. Myers Landau. He was born in Lancaster, son of the late Charles William and Margaret Bernhard Landau. He was a self-employed painter/paper hanger all of his life before his retirement and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Cosmopolitan Club and served in many official capacities there. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed taking many trips to Atlantic City and Las Vegas casinos.
Surviving in addition to his wife, one son: Jay W. (Karen N.) Landau, Lancaster. One daughter: Vicki L. Cooke. Four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside service and burial will be held at Conestoga Memorial Park, on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. with Full Military Honors. Please omit flowers. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: Hospice and Community Care.
