Caleb Dodger Webster

Rock Hill, SC – Caleb Dodger Webster, 16, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:45 pm on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at West End Baptist Church, 1727 McConnells Highway, Rock Hill, SC. The service will be held at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jim Phillips and Pastor Eddie Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park – Cherry Road, 620 Cherry Road, Rock Hill, SC.

Born in Rock Hill, SC, Caleb was the son of Barry Webster and Melissa Himes Gassert. He was baptized at Red Path Baptist Church as a child and later, became involved in the youth programs at West End Baptist Church. Caleb was a student at Rock Hill High School and was a proud Bearcat. He was very active throughout his youth. He played football and wrestled. He also enjoyed lifting weights and spending time at the gym. In more recent years, Caleb found enjoyment in becoming a bull rider, with plans to compete. He enjoyed fishing, riding 4-wheelers, and hunting various game, including hog, deer and alligator. He also looked forward to camping trips with his family. You could find him almost every weekend building and enjoying bonfires. Caleb loved his dog, Rebel.

Caleb is survived by his father, Barry Webster (Joy); his mother Melissa Gassert (Joseph); his brother, Coal Webster, his sister, Issabella Gassert, who he fondly called “Sissie”; his grandparents, Trudy C. Webster (Floyd Jr.), Kathleen Dodge Himes, and Matt Himes (Diane); his great-grandmothers, Gail Himes and Olean Himes; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family would like to extend their deep gratitude to Caleb’s many friends. Your love and support is carrying us and sustaining us as we grieve. Your presence for us is a testament of the love you have for Caleb.
